P0113 is an Intake Air Temp High Input error. High input in this cause, means the voltage sent to the PCM from the sensor is too high. This makes sense since the higher the voltage the PCM seem the lower the intake temperature seems to be to the PCM. Colder temperatures will cause the PCM to increase the fuel to the engine (like the old style choke/fast idle). You need to check the wiring to the Intake Air Temp Sensor, and if it is OK, replace the sensor.

2005 Chevy Cavalier. Where is the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor located please?

Edited to tidy up the English, and the code is P-Zero, not P-Oh.

If your PCM is returning a P0113 error code, it means that your Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is reading at too high of a voltage. This sensor works as a basic resistor. The PCM sends it a continuous current of five volts, and monitors how much voltage it gets back.

2002 300m brake, abs, trac off lights on with P0113 code

Intake air senor, did you plug it back in. On the plenum between the air filter and throttle body. They rarely go bad. If plugged in , check for a broken wire right behind the plug. they break inside the coating.

Replaced the MAF. Still have the P0113 code. Car runs fine. Cannot find another intake air temperature sensor anywhere on the vehicle! Where is it?

code p0113 does not refer to a MAF sensor so replacing that was a waste of money=== It refers to intake air temperature (IAT) sensor---circuit malfunction====causes --wiring open circuit/short circuit to positive--wiring short circuit to ground---ground wire defective---IAT sensor---ECM.
Replace the IAT and check the wiring is in good condition and the connectors are clean and tight.

Codes p0203, p0123, and p0113 are showing for my 2001 jeep grand cherokee. The voltage from the tps plug was 1.5v

P0113 intake air temp voltage too high
P0123 Throttle position sensor voltage too high
P0203 is injector #3 control circuit
voltage is higher that 4.9 volts short to 5 volt supply circuit

erase the codes and drive vehicle to see if the codes come back if they do you have a hard code check the supply circuit for a short

P0113 is what is stated on the service code. what does it mean?

P0113 -

Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input

It looks like it is related to the IAT sensor or circuit.

My 2003 chevy impal idles very high an i found 3 codes that are p0113,p0401,p1639,can anyone help me understand whats going on

p1639 is low a/c refrig. so that's not it. p0113 is low intake air temp. which is telling the computer its -38 f. This can cause the idle to be raised. and p0401 is EGR flow test failed.
Can you post what motor this has 3.8 liter or the 3.4 liter. This is something that we need to know.
