Hi ive got new 17in alloys wheels for my honda civic 98hb and ive fit into my car. the problem is alloys wheels makes strange sound, its like some turbo noise but i dont know. when i speed more the sound makes more noise also when i move my leg from GAS padol its makes more noise . i went to local garage but they dont know anything about the. the alloys wheel neither touching anything like arches or suspension. i dont know why the alloys wheel makes sound? my old 15in alloys wheel didnt make any sound. so i dont know... plz help me ...thnakx
What design are they, two thing could be doing it, if the obviouse touching has already been investigated, one is the design, if the spokes/hub sits out further than the rim than the outer of the rim they could be catching the wind and making some freaky noises, or if the center dishes in then maybe they are "loud" tyres by that i mean do the tyres have wide grooves, directional etc, high performance tyres are in principle very noisy. hope this has been handy.
