Is it below freezing outside.. doors frozen closed?? what..use regular room temp water from a gallon jug and pour it over the door seal area all the way around the door.. once opened.. take a bar of soap or vaseline and coat the entire door seal to help keep the door from sticking in the future. do this every coulpe of weeks and spray the door mechanism with wd40 or spray lube in a can so it wont stick either..

Testimonial: "its not below freezing. All of the other doors work fine. Its like they are locked. tried the unlock button and manually unlocking them."

SOURCE: 2005 dadge dakota tailgate wont open

You can access it from the inside of the tail gate, there is a plate directly on the other side of the handle,Just take that plate off and reattach the rod mount or replace the handle if it's broken.

SOURCE: When I use my remote starter & door

The rear doors probably dont come w accuators in them. Meaning that the rear doors alot of times don't have power options. If you are certain that your rear doors have factory power locks then I would say it's a wire somewhere...did you try a double click of the unlock button. My two door chevy truck unlocks the driver door with one click and the pass door requires a double click. Hope this helps !

Where are the fuses for the power dock locks on a 2006 montecarlo06ss

DR/LCK fuse 25 amp . located in the I/P block
Fuse Block - I/P
In the right front kick panel

Power Door Locks System Components
The power lock system consists of the following components:
• Body control module (BCM)
• Driver door lock cylinder switch
• Front passenger door lock cylinder switch
• Driver door lock switch
• Front passenger door lock switch
• Door lock actuators in each of the doors
• DR LK Fuse 20-amp
Door Lock System Controls
The Power Door Lock System is controlled by the body control module (BCM) and can be activated by any one of the following:
• A door lock switch lock or unlock actuation
• A door lock cylinder switch unlock actuation
• A keyless entry transmitter actuation
• An automatic door lock actuation (Personalization function)
• An automatic door unlock actuation (Personalization function)
Door Lock Operation
When the body control module (BCM) detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the lock position, it switches the door lock actuator lock control circuit to voltage. Since the lock actuator unlock control circuits are at ground potential within the BCM, the door lock actuator motors transition to the lock position.
Driver Door Unlock Operation
When the body control module (BCM) detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the unlock position, it switches the driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit to voltage. Since the door lock actuator lock control circuit is at ground potential within the BCM, the left front (LF) door lock actuator motor transitions to the Unlock position.
The driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit is a dedicated control circuit used only for the driver door lock actuator motor. This is done so that the driver door may be unlocked by itself using a keyless entry transmitter or an automatic door unlock function (if programmed).
Passenger Door Unlock Operation
When the body control module (BCM) detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the unlock position, it switches the door lock actuator unlock control circuits to voltage. Since the door lock actuator lock control circuit is at ground potential within the BCM, the passenger door lock actuator motors transition to the unlock position.
The door lock actuator unlock control circuits are dedicated control circuits used only for the passenger door lock actuator motors. This is done so that the driver door may be unlocked separate from the passenger doors using a keyless entry transmitter or an automatic door unlock function (if programmed).

How do i unlock child lock on 1996 camry

page 14 of your owners manual shows how to lock unlock the child proof setup on door -----open door and by latch will see the the lock move to unlock position ! CAUTION LOCKING WITH REAR DOOR CHILDPROTECTORS Turn the lock knob to the "LOCK" position as shown on the label. This feature allows you to lock a rear door so it can be opened from the outside only, not from inside. We recommend using this feature.... the link is a copy of your owners manual

06 Sorento, passanger front door wont unlock.. Do we have to take the whole door panel off? is it maybe the motor ? Tryed to unlock with remote and manual.. It just wont open.

I take it that this is the only door that does not work. This being the case does the door sound as if the electric motor is working inside the door? When you try to unlock with the key does the key turn and nothing happens? If this be the case then a plastic clip that joins the key lock arm and the lockmechanism is likly to be broken requiring trim removall and replacing parts not very expensive but hard to get out. I find removing four bolts holding seat in position and removing the seat is the easy way

I hve a 2007 nissan altma and the front passenger door wont open. I replaced the locking assembly, and as soon as i closed the door it locked again. When I press the unlock button it moves but nothing...

sounds like the actuator in the door that locks and unlocks the door is jammed or too weak to move the lock assembly to fully lock/unlock positions. the linkage may be in a bind that can cause the same problem.

Cant get my 99 xj8 out of valet mode, and my trunk will not open.

There are Valet keys (often with a green knob) that will
only unlock the front doors and the ignition but not the
glove box nor boot/trunk.

When either the front door locks or the console button is
pressed, all the doors should lock. Likewise, when either
front door is unlocked, all the doors fuel filler lid and if
selected, the boot will also unlock.

Boot lock has three positions. Unlocked to the left,
automatic with the doors in the center, always locked to the
right. Simply remove the key in what ever position you desire.

The locks can get confused and not work correctly. Simply
sit in the car and manually lock all the doors. That will
usually get the locking module sane again.
