ABS/traction control light malfunction light is on. Noise (clinking grinding) coming form behind driver side rear wheel. when visualy inspecting what should i be looking for and where. Is there some where perticular that I have to look in order to check my abs and trac control.
Traction control and abs lights are on 1998 lincoln towncar
Sounds like the brake pads may be metal to metal, that could be the noise problem, but until u have the system tested for the trouble code that is setin the ABS modules memory when the light comes on you are guessing, the Dealer is the only one in most cases that has the scan tool to check ABS trouble codes.

Brake and caliber looks fine. 1/2 inch of pad still on brake. NO leaks from caliber.
Did the Wheel Speed Sensor look ok on that wheel? Is one side of the pad wearing faster that the other? Inner pad ie?
