Debbie, code p0300 is a random misfire code,
- bad spark plug (s)
- bad ignition coil (s)
- plugged or faulty fuel injector (s)
- Intake leak
- injectors harness is open or shorted
- Injectors circuit has poor electrical connection
- Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinders compression
- weak fuel pressure
see links below,
300 is random misfire and 306 is cylinder #6, I would check the coil pack on #6. If it has separate coils per cyliner, swap the coil, see if the misfire goes to that cylinder. If it does replace the coil. If it has three coil packs you can still swap the coils. If that doesn't fix your problem, then you will have to check the injector with an ohm meter. resistance between the prongs should be between 11 to 15 ohms. check another injector and they should be relatively close. Let me know Good luck
CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS SEE IF THAT HELPS.IF NOT COULD HAVE BAD FUEL INJECTOR OR FUEL INJECTOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR COULD HAVE A SHORT.DO A COMPRESSION CHECK ON THAT CYLINER COULD ALSO HAVE LOW COMPRESSION DUE TO BAD VALVES OR INTAKE MANIFOLD LEAK AT CYLINDER NUMBER 4.

A misfire can be cause by several factors. here are a list of things to check check spark plug on that cylinder and check coil and wiring for coil. check cylinder compression on all cylinders if one cylinder is less than 10 psi different from the others that can cause a miss, last but not least check injector pulse using a noid light for injector pulse if pulse is good then injector is bad replace and that should solve your problem. Good luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA
you mite want to change the distributor cap or it might need a quick tune up if the distributor is damaged then it wont always spark properly witch is why u will get full 200psi if it is a continuous put put put then i would suggest getting it tuned
