it turned out it was the fuel pump. theres a pressure port to the right of the fuel rail and you have to depress it and cycle the key off and on till some fuel comes out of it. i learned this alot later but i guess this is necessary to do after you change the fuel pump or if you run out of gas

Well first of all it sound like your fuel pump is dead, To get to your fuel pump you need to take out the back seat out because it is located under it in the middle. Or you can drop the gas tank to get to the fuel pump. And the relay switch should be in your fuse box Now if memory serves me correctly you should have 2 fues boxes in that model. Check the engine area for that relay for the fuel pump.

poping up the back seat was the way to go it was really easy to get to just have something to prop the seat up cause it tries to fall down while your working. also the smell sucks so open the windows and doors

Can't find main fuel pump relay in my 2003 Honda civic ex

The main relay is a common issue with Civics. Luckily, they are abundant and cheap. If you were sitting in the passenger seat, it would be in front of your left knee, just up and under the glove box. Let me guess? You have that steady non-starting sound? Car is trying to start but won't? Good luck dear, and remember you can get these pretty inexpensively. Ebay, junk yards, and any other parts stores. I prefer INTEX for new parts.

Were to find a main relay on a honda

the main relay wich will turn the fuel pump on and start the car is located under the dash board behind the fuse box. on civics its on the fire wall but on accords its just after the fuse box. to see if thats your problem first listen for the fuel pump if you cant hear it then remove the dash cover at the bottom of the steering wheel turn the key to the on position and listen for a clik if you hear the clik the main relay is bad next take a tool and litely tap it while turning it on the car should start and you should go to a parts store and buy the relay on the thing it says accord but its actually for all honda's

I HAVE A 93 HONDA CIVIC EX VTEC AND IT HAS A D16A6 BLOCK & A D15B7 NON V HEAD I BOUGHT A HOLE BRAND NEW DISTRIBUTOR & SPARK PLUGS THE CAR HAD A P28 VTEC ECU BUT THERE IS STILL NO SPARK I CHECKED WITH A...

I do know that there is a main relay in the car that plays an important role in the car starting/running. I have changed many distributors, thinking that they were deffective. When turns out that relay was Intermittently working causing the car to run one day and not the Next. I do know that heat is a factor because if my car windows were left up and it was burning hot inside the car it wouldn't start, but once it cooled down it would start. Sounds like yours is just completely dead. It costs like $80.00 for the relay but and acura/honda repair shop should have them stocked.... Notoriously known for similar issues your having due to deffective MAIN RELAY

Where is the fuel pump fuse located on 1994 Honda civic DX and the fuel pump location

Fuel pump is in the tank, there may be an access panel under the back seat area. One thing to check is the Main Relay. Ususally up under the dash, Left Dash area, I dont have a diagram, but you will need one to find and verify the relay operation.

Honda civic wont start because of the alarm

did you try the main relay which is next to the fuel pump relay ..(the brown relay next to the blue(fuel pump relay) behind the glove box they are known to go as well and also i think the fuel pump relay feeds power of the main relay.

Looking for the fuel pump relay or sensor

The Fuel pump relay is part of the EFI main relay and can not be replaced separately. The EFI main relay is located behind the dash, left of the steering wheel.
