Our 1998 Chevy Venture is overheating. All fluids okay.

if you are not sure if it is the fan motor you can disconnect the plug to the fan and run a jumper wire with a positive and ground from the battery to the fan plug and it it comes on than the motor is good. and you have a bad wire or sensor. and one easy fix for that would be to get a toggle switch put it in the cab and run wires to a power sorce and then to the fan wires. i have done it once so you would have to keep an eye on the temp and turn the fan on manually. that would be a cheap and temporarily fix
