1998 yukon 4x4 rear end fit in 1993 chevy 1500 4x4
If there are leaf springs in the rear of both vehicles and the centre bolts of the springs are the same distance apart then it will fit unless the wheels on one are closer to the body than the other. (track) A tape measure will prove this.. The drive pinion and tail shaft u-joint set up should be the same. Check that the diff ratios are the same or you will have transmission problems ( this is the most important point). Difference between front and rear diffs.

SOURCE: how to adjust rear brakes on 1993 chevy k1500 4x4
should be a regular break shoe setup, there should be a hole in the backing plate to adjust with a screwdriver but i find it's better to pull the brake drum off and blow out all the dust (just don't breath it) then you can check to make sure the wheel cylinders aren't leaking and all the springs are good. it's also a good idea to pull off the brake adjusters to clean and lubricate them. if you need to replace anything and your not familiar with brake shoe setups then do one side at a time and remember short shoe to the front long shoe to the rear.
