My car has 73k miles, no CEL. I've had no major issues and nothing really replaced other than spark plugs (60k) and my routine oil changes. Now when i'm at a stop or even a rolling stop and I go from brake pedal to gas, for about 1-2 seconds my car hesitates. It's a real boggy feeling and you can feel the hesitation in the gas pedal as well. After that it's fine, idles great and everything. It doesn't happen every time, some days my car is 100% but it's been happening more frequently. Initially I thought maybe the fuel injectors? But I have no clue. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If it does this only when warm then it may be the coil pack. To prove it you can warm the car's engine up and when the problem occurs, stop the engine and remove the coil pack. Place it in a bag if cool enough and place in the freezer, ensuring it can't get wet! Once cool, replace the coil pack and start the engine. If it's fine for a minute and then plays up, it's almost certainly the coil pack.

try cleaning the inside of the MAF sensor and do the following procedure as well.
Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls at stops and low erratic idle speed and rough idle, it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

The upper intake gaskets may be leaking. They are made of plastic and metal and will leak air. Do not remove the cover on very top of manifold when changing.
