SOURCE: 2009 Pontiac VIBE won't start-left for 1 week while on vacation

Let the battery charge a little bit with the jumper cables left on the battery. Give it 20 minutes or so and them try to start.

Do you mean it won't start, or won't crank ?
The charging system would not affect starting.

2009 charger won't start

1st off is it getting spark ?
2 things to try if you have went thru spark, fuel, ignition.
Dodge cars and trucks have a cam shaft sensor, inexspensive and it sends info to motor, (Google it for location) also if your catalytic converter is clogged it wont start/run, bang on it and if you hear loose or ratteling in it then its clogged, punch a hole in it and if it starts then replace that and you are good to go.

Oil light on car won't start

normally i would say if it ran low on oil and now the engine wont turn over, i would suspect internal engine damage. But, have someone check first to be sure it isnt something easy like a battery connection or starter

Car wont start

I think you have a bad fuseable link. Also,
I suspect your alternator is not charging your battery.

You have power with the new one, and it ran for the 20 minutes on your old battery. There also may be a
starter relay unit under the hood.
