How can you replace a fuel rail on a 1995 Volvo 960. Pictures would be helpful
Take a lead from your battery .then reach under the inlet manifold. remove the 10mm bolt and copper washers one each side of that bolt. that is the feed line from your fuel rail to the cold start injector .now remove each of the ten mil bolts holding on your fuel rail . now remove the clips holding the injectors to your fuel rail. place some clothes under the fuel rail and lift off . care needed due to fuel wear eye protection due to fuel pressure..

Car has vaccuum leak(s). If you remove the panel under drivers foot area, look to the center area. You will see some vacuum chambers with different color vacuum lines running to them. the yellow one is faulty 80% of the time. Carefully remove it and plug the line itself. you dont need to plug the chamber. this should fix problem, and you wont notice any function lost on climate system.

Where roy might have a possible source, it is most likely the park neutral switch which has started to fail. This is indicated by the shift arrow flashing on the dash. Replacement of this component is relatively difficult without a lift

it is more than likely the sender if you pull out pump you can manually move sender or you can test gauge by grounding sender the gauge should go to full if none of this happens you need a gauge
