Question about 1985 Chevrolet Corvette
How do you change out a battery in an 1985 Corvette?
In my 1985 corvette the battery is located under the hood, but you must remove the panel on the driver's side to gain access to the battery. Hope this helps

The battery is located behind the driver seat in a compartment. Remove the lid to the compartment. Disconnect the battery, remove the hold down. Remove and replace battery. Reinstall the hold down and reconnect the battery. Close lid.

HAVE YOU CHECKED THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL FILTER? IF YOU HAD TO CHANGE INJECTORS, MAYBE THEY WERE CLOGGED WITH IMPURITIES GETTING PASS THE FILTER? I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FIND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. LET ME KNOW PLEASE. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BOW-TIE.

there are a few things to check, the oil pressure switch behind/next to the dist. will shut off the fuel pump if it detects no oil pressure or is loose. The module in the distributor can go bad and stop working if it overheats, use a fan to keep the dist cool and see if the car keeps running. monitor the voltages on the Mass air flow and TPS. this should get you started. Also a dirty clogged fuel filter will cause the fuel pump to overheat and shut off.
