Hi Monterogirl85 I'm glad to help!
If one of your vents is blowing hot air and all the others are cold, then you either have a A/C door problem or the Actuator Motor that works that door for that vent is bad. I see this problem a lot working on A/C problems all the time. This problem has nothing to do with a thermostat or anything else on the vehicle. It's only a door problem. You'll need to find out which door goes to that vent and remove the actuator and move the door by hand and see if it gets cold out of that vent. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.

follow the Upper coolant hose on the radiator to the engine block. it should have a couple bolts that hold it onto the engine. remove those bolts with the appropriate size wrench or socket wrench. remove the old thermostat and replace it with the new one the same way.

Your water pump is driven by the timing belt; to access you will need to remove the forward portion of the engine (pumps/alternator/belts and such) when replacing the water pump you wll need to remove and then replace the timing belt and tensioner. Much care is needed to to insure the proper timing or things can go very bad. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the easiest) I'd give this a 6.5 to 7.
I hope this may have assisted you,
Tom
