Lower part of engine, maybe side of engine block or lower front of engine. If your engine is leaking oil sometimes this ruins sensors.

SOURCE: crank position sensor location

you will need to remove the starter to gain acess to the ckp sensor. once you remove the starter look on the engine block and you will see the sensor. The only problem with doing this repair yourself is that you will not be able to preform the crankshaft position variation learn procedure with out a factory scan tool. The vehicle may crank an run, but the timing advance curves will be wrong so the vehicle will probably cut off every time you remove your foot from the gas pedal. Hope this info helps!

Hi my 2001 mazda mpv started staling when come to a stop and had very low rpms when idleing. I ran a obd2 test and the idle air control came up and crankshaft position sensor. I changed IAC with new one,...

After I visited the website named "MPVclub.com," I read an article there that shows the crank position sensor to be located on the right side of the motor buy the crank pulley. You can't miss it, it is right in between the crank pulley and the a/c compressor. Go to www.MPVclub.com, then go to forums, which is on the left hand side of the page, go to 00-06 MPVproblems, go to page 2 and go to the bottom of the page to "PO335 Crankshaft position sensor Replacement, you will see the comments and some pics that will guide you to it.
Hope this helps.

Misfire at 2000 rpm, plugs, wires, injector done. scoped inj pulse

ok this could be 3 things, your coil pack, crank position sensor or your camshaft position sensor, if you had your check engine light on, take it to a local autozone and they will scan it for free, after the scan they will get a code and they will tell you what sensor is bar, do that first, if they does´t know what are problems just tell them to give you the codes and let us know the code numbers, hope this helps.

Cranks but has no spark from coil, coil tested good.

This would likely be the crank position sensor. It is located in the distributor and would require replacement of the distributor. Runs about $200 and very easy to replace. Let me know if you need anything further.

Where is the throttle sensor on 1994 mazda mpv located

Follow the hose running towards the engine from the air filter and you will come to the throttle body. This is where your throttle cable is also located. On the opposite side of where the throttle cable is you will see wires running to a sensor, this is your throttle position sensor.
