How to tighten a bed of a truck. I got my truck towed and they towed it from the back and now the bed is loose and wanting to slide back. How can I secure it again ?

Call the towing co. they should repair it or have it repaired, they have insurance for this stuff. If you get underneath the vehicle you'll see the bolts that secure the bed, move the bed around until it's square using the wheel wells and the gap between the cab and the bed as a reference then re tighten the bolts. I hope this helps, Take care. If you have more questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email. Thanks

(7) Before installing bolts, lubricate the threads

How to tighten cab mounts

Bolts located on underside of the truck. I believe that 6 bolts hold the cab on to the frame if its a crew cab. Four bolts can be seen from laying under the truck. You can see the rubber mounts that attach it the the cab from the frame. The other 2 in the back are on the floor board by rear seat or back panel. they connect to the frame also. Make sure the cab is aligned with the bed. It can be shifted. Make sure the bolts are straight and not leaning forward or backwards. Inspect the rubber cab mounts to make sure they are good. You will understand when you start investigating the mounting area.

How do you adjust the parking brake on a 1994 ford ranger, manaul trans,4wd

Start by adjusting up the rear brakes, if those are tight and you still want to tighten up the parking brake running down the driver's side, outside the frame are the parking cables. somewhere around the back of the cab/front of the bed should be a plate with 2 cables and a bolt. tighten the bolt/nut up to make the parking brake tighter

Torque specs for truck bed mounts

Torque specs are not important in this application, apply some thread locking compound and tighten the bolts.

45-60 ft lbs is about right for the size bolts that are used on that box.
