{: ) Code P0010 refers to a fault at the Intake Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Solenoid Control Circuit Bank 1. This code will set if the ECM (Engine Control Module) detects that the commanded state of the driver and the actual state of the control circuit do not match for greater than 3 s.
The service procedure requires close monitoring with a scan tool. Well it may be too technical for you, but simply put, it may require replacing the CMP actuator solenoid valve if it fails the component test. If the component is found to be okay, the circuit and wirings should be checked for possible shorts or open, and also the signal performance. If all circuit tests proved normal, a replacement ECM may be recommended.
If the engine light and code is consistently present, most likely it's the actuator solenoid valve. Check it out with your trusted mechanic. Goodluck.

Have the vehicle scanned for codes.If you have codes p0010,p0011,p0013,or p0014.You need to replace the intake and exhaust actuators.They are on top off the engine next to number 1 cylinder.And then have your oil changed.

Engine light codes p0010 & p0011, replaced intake solenoid valve kit, and 3 weeks later. same codes p0010 & p0011 return

code p 0010 refers to camshaft position (CMP) actuator, intake /left/front, bank 1---circuit malfunction====causes --wiring---CMP actuator---ECM
code p 0011 refers to camshaft position (CMP) sensor , intake /left/front, bank 1--timing over-advanced/system performance===causes ---valve timing---engine mechanical fault--cmp actuator-wiring
if the engine is running as expected , it would be logical to eliminate mechanical and valve timing fault
buy replacing what you have , it is possible that there is a wiring connection problem that you temporarily fixed by moving the harness around
At this point it indicates problem CMP sensors, so take it to an accredited service specialist that has experience on your make of vehicle and get a diagnosis done and a quote

I have a code P0013, What is that? How did it happen? and how can I fix it?

The P0013 code is the cam shaft position sensor, The other code is related to brakes. The engine in your car is not the type to have CVVT on the cam so it is likely that the sensor may be bad or the wiring to it is damaged or corroded.

Camshaft sensor in 2009 hhr

You should probably take the car to a reliable shop or the dealer for that problem because those codes pertain to the intake and exhaust camshaft position actuator valves - not the sensor itself. It's more than just simply replacing the sensor for that problem.

Engine light says p0010 and p0013 codes I changed both cam sensors and cleared the codes but the check engine light is back on and it is running slightly rough when stopped and holding the break ?

The codes are not for cam sensors.
The codes are for the intake and exhaust cam position actuator solenoid circuits.
The engine computer controls cam timing by these solenoids. You'll need a shop manual to get the testing procedures since this is beyond the normal range of a DIY.

Code P0013

Pretty common. First, if you have not already done so, have a parts store reset the engine light. sometimes the solenoid sticks under hard acceleration and the problem is very intermittent. if it recurs, doesn't necessarily mean the solenoid is bad. Change your oil if it's been more than 5000 miles or 6 months, as buildup can cause this. Be sure to use the recommended oil per the manufacturer. If the issue returns continuously then you may well need to visit a reputable garage.
