Your day time running lamp relay is located in the fuse box under the hood. Remove the fuse box cover and on the bottom of the cover you will see a fuse and relay diagram.
Good luck, let me know.

Dome light relay defective and won't pull out. How can I remove it? 1998 Windstar

No catch. it is probably melted into the plastic panel it plugs into. from overheating, the leads that plug into it are melted. you need to remove the panel and look underneath to see how extensive the damage is. The only solution is to cut around the plastic carefully to remove. may have to rewire a new relay in using the old wires where there is no damage.

My brake light was out changed tha blub. It still is not working but tha signal and running lights work

This may be a problem with the relay or the switch that goes to the brake pedal. Do a physical inspection. For the relay you may want to swap identical relays also found in the relay box under the hood to isolate the issue.

Where is the fuel pump relay on 1998 mustang???? Exact location???? thanks for your help.

First thing to note is that the relay is housed in a Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM). This module contains the relay for the Fuel Pump, Cooling Fan, and Air Conditioning Clutch.

In our 1998 Mustang V6, the location of the CCRM is behind the passenger side wheel well plastic cover. Looking at the wheel dead on - it's found at around the 1 o'clock position. To confirm it's location without removing any plastic wheel well cover - pop the hood, and look for a wire harness routing from the engine compartment INTO the passenger side front fender (near the air cleaner). Flash a light in there, and you'll see a connector attached to the module.

I'll save you some headaches in finding the right size tool to remove the connector as well - I used a 5mm nut wrench to remove the connector from the module. Do this first so that you can access one of the two bolts that holds the module bracket to the fender. user_offline.gif found this at the allfordmustangs web site. hope this helps

Turn signals not flashing on a 1998 Old Intrigue,

Do the lights come on but, just don't flash? It could be the turn signal flasher. The owners manual should show the location.

there is no real way to repair a relay, but you can get a new relay from the dealership. there very expensive for such little parts, but the toyota house is the only place ive found to get the part

The rear running lights, dash lights and console lights are out. The dash and console lights blink when either turn signal is turned on. I have checked all the bulbs. Looked for the fuses and relays but...

I think yhat in 96 and later Jeeps the internal lighting fuses are located in the passenger side cowl trim panel, relays for internal and external lighting circuits are usually found in the drivers side footwell, normally @ the bottom of the dash near the lower part of the steering coloum. But you could just have a bad ground contact. good luck.

1998 explorer intermintant start. New starter. alternator is 6 months old (suppose to be liftime, I wonder if the problem IS the ALT.) When it decides to start. The alt. only chargers at 13.6 volts. But...

intermittant start sounds like starter relay, 13.6-14.4 is still charging anything above 12.0 is charging, so that does not sound bad to me. I have a 99 F150 and have found all my problems were sticky relays
