i know that if it is spitting you need to change the spark plugs, this might also help the bad starting, and also the cut while running.

Please check your motor mounts.
A broken, or even a worn motor mount or two can negatively pull on your linkages so that your van will do this.
Understand that if the motor and/or transmission moves loosely, other things can be affected, such as shifting gears and wiring.

Try to reset the IAC valve on the throttle body it has 4 wires t it .
procedure is as follows

turn ignition key on (don't start the engine), unplug the IAC valve, turn the key off, replug the IAC .Do this 3-4 times .Then start the engine while holding the pedal down at about 2000 rpm then let the rpm down slowly till idle. Sometimes the throttle requires cleaning then redo the reset.

Idle air control valve is a common problem Might check that first. Is it throughing a check engine light? with that I can help you further.
