Dies while decellerating

Cold morning, first start of the day. No problem starting engine, but everything cuts out as the car crests the top of a hill about two miles from parked position. No power steering either. Turn the key, and it starts up - no problem. No further stalls. Same thing happens each morning at same spot. Oil pressure and battery lights come on each time, then go off.

Thanks, Matt. Makes good sense, and will check, but I had an oil change not too long ago. Saw mention of something called a "VTEC oil pressure switch" when trying to research this problem. Could that cause the car to go into "imp mode" under these circumstances?

Check your oil. It is possible that your car has a low oil pressure shutoff and when cresting the top of the hill, the oil goes to the back of the oil pan, telling the sensor it has no oil and shutting down the car before any damage occurs.

SOURCE: engine turns over fine , car will not start.

well the first part of your question i was all ready to tell you to put a new fuel pump in, now not so sure, there is a relay for fuel pump, can you hear pump cycle and relay click? relay under hood you will have to listen close they don't run long maybe a couple secounds, if you don't relay bad. if you do pump could be bad, do fuel pressure test pump could be weak. don't think sunroof and turn signals are related, but stranger things have happend.

SOURCE: honda accord hybrid 2005 won't start in cold weather

Sounds like a fuse for the DC-DC convertor to battery circut or the DC-DC convertor. Check the fuses under the hood but DO NOT attempt to fix the convertor yourself because there are LETHAL amouts of voltage in the hybrid drive system.

SOURCE: Oil Pressure Warning light

Sounds like possiblity of the oil pump being bad, and is setting off other sensors on your car.

SOURCE: Engine won't start. Dash lights flash rapidly when key turned.

the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck

Motor starts then dies several times when cold

Sounds like the cold start solenoid. It is designed to keep the engine running at a set RPM until it reaches a specific engine temp.

Stop by any good parts store (Autozone, Advance, etc..) and have an OBII scan done (fault scan) they do this free. Have them give you the codes and explain what each one means.
Your computer tracks all these faults that you described and keeps record of them. The multiple issues will top the list. There you will KNOW exactly what ids to be replaced vs throwing parts at it.

Friend, you've changed everything but the right thing. The temperature sending unit. It tells the computer to go into cold start mode to start the engine by putting more fuel into the engine. If this sensor is erratic, sometimes don't work, it will cause a hard start situation if not in cold start mode. Dealer cant find this because it's a manual thing and may not be showing up on his tester.
