Mke sure your battery is sending black wire to the chassis with a multi meter. One probe on - on battery and other probe on chassis. Or one pone on + and other probe on opposing side of main fuse. Should read a continuity reading, if not, tighten the earth strap or change the main fuse

2005 Dodge Durango has the battery being dead almost every morning. New battery. Anyone help?

All about parasitic draw. Check for a light in the trunk or under the hood. Also the dome light is easy to miss in the daylight.

2005 mountaineer won't accelerate

No one can tell why,it has to be checked
for codes & diagnosed as with all vehicle
issues

I could say you may have one or more bad ignition coils
as they are common on your engine, but still have to test
many things to see what does work correctly, the other
things that don't will show up 90% of the time

Sounds ike my 1999 merc mountaineer wants to start, but then clicking noise. someone says can knock it in place with screwdriver and hammer...is this true?

A mechanic would check for voltage at the battery, then the cables, then voltage at the starter. The starter gets voltage from the battery and from the key switch to energize the solenoid.
Fords need at least 10.5 volts and 200 amps to crank the starter. A battery can have a dead cell and show 12 volts but no cranking amps.

I have a 2005 Mitsubishi galant, went out to start the car and was dead< I have a new battery and bought a new alternator, found the new alternator to be faulty. recieved another new alternator and the...

If the vehicle sit for a period of time, even over night and it won't start with the new battery and alternator, you have a dead short drawing voltage from the battery until it goes dead. Disconnect the positive terminal from the battery and connect a test light to the cable and touch the battery positive post with the other end of the tester. If the tester lights up, you have a draw on the battery causing it to go dead. Now you need to pull 1 fuse at a time while the tester is connected to see when the light goes out. When it dies, that is the circuit that needs to be traced to find the faulty switch, bard wire or whatever is the cause. Good luck.
