SOURCE: 1989 ford f350 a/c heater fan only runs on high

When your heater only works on high it is usually
the resistor unit in the heater passage housing. Look for wires ( about 4or 5 wires ) attached to the
plastic heater housing under the dash. It should
have a screw or two holding it to the housing. Pull
it out and you will see several wire coils. If they are melted or broken then thats the problem. On any switch position except high the power goes through these resistors to slow the fan down. Good luck. Neil W.

SOURCE: 2006 ford f350 heater fan only works on high or

your blower motor resistor is gone if it only works on hi and low. You'll find it on the blowermotor itself there will be wires going into it and 2 screws holding it in place. when you pull it out it will be a ling square looking flat card

2000 F350 with 7.3 and automatic trans. The speedometer and odometer stopped working, the overdrive off light flashes, and the heater fan doesn't turn off with the key. All problems started today

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. The overdrive off light flashes is telling you that the transmission has a problem an code's are set in the transmission control module or PCM - engine computer . Speedometer an odometer not working could mean speed sensor is bad . Checking code's with a factory or professional scan tool is need . The heater fan not turning off is a seperate problem , relay stuck closed maybe . Is it running at high speed ?

My 2003 ford f350 heater does not work at all

Does the fan work?

Assuming it does then check the valve operation on the heater matrix within the cab, under the dash. Is the valve operating with the heater controls?

Please report findings.

My heater stopped working. is there a relay switch that might of went bad? fuse good, fan good also.

Kinda sounds like you have a clogged heater core, if the fan is working but it is blowing cold air that is normally either the coolant is to low or the heater core is clogged.

My heater on my F350 does not seem to be working properly. When I take my foot of the gas....the heater pumps cold air. What is my problem?

if the heater fan is sill blowing then the only thing is maybe the water pump is faulty. Feel the hoses if you can get to them for the heater core when its idling.. If one cools down when you idle and heats up when your reving up the motor I would suspect a coolant flow issue, I have seen heater cores clog or become restricted so reving the motor would push more hot water thru You may have a control valve on one of the heater hoses going to the motor that may not be fully opening .
Now it they are both hot and stay hot then I would heater box as being the issue, I wouldnt suspect the control as being at fault.
