Yes and fuses are tricky some don't look blown and they r, and some look blown and r not But to check the radio itself put a volt meter to the wiring connection on back of unit
In the fuse box located on the drivers side of the dash, check fuse # 25, should be a 10 amp (red) fuse. Check with a test light and with the ignition in the on position you should have power at both sides of the fuse. OR remove the fuse and see if the contacts in the middle are broken. Replace if blown.
Your 20 amp fuse will not blow if glowplug wire shorts. each plug draws 15 amps which is 120 amps total.I think there are in line fuses for them. Try to wring out where each output from the fuse goes, disconnect all and reconnect one at a time till it blows. That should point to your problem process of illumination! Good Luck!!
there are a few diodes in the electrical system that have been blown. Some are in the dash and some are in the different control modules in the car. Your insurance should pay for this problem.
You cannot change the fuse the way that you are trying. You need to loosen all of the bolts that holds the fuse box to the inner fender, and then observe the sides of the box, there are tabs that allow the exterior/bottom of the box to be pulled DOWN. After the box bottom is released, the 120 Amp fuse is accessible.
Hope this helps.
