Having an alignment done usually only corrects the car pulling to one side. Check the rear tires for balance and wear. You may also want to have them rotated to the front to see if the vibration also moves to the front.
Could be caused by a sticking/failing CV joint. If you check boots and see cracks or tears most likely the Joint then got debris which could lead to failure. Confirm that it FEELS like brakes are active but your NOT applying brakes. If this is the case then my thought on CV joint would be first check. I had one fail a few years ago and it was similar. Vibration started and then I could feel the vehicle slowing.
If you ARE applying brakes and you fee the shudder or vibration then it may be related to a tie rod end. A worn tie rod allows the wheel to go off track slightly and the result we feel when driving is a shudder or vibration.
Does it feel like its coming from the front or a certain side in the front and can you feel it in the steering wheel or brake pedal. Is it only at certain speeds accelerating, braking, decelerating or is it constant.
do u feel the vibration in the steering wheel or in the seat,i bet the most vibration was coming out of the front brakes and a little out of the rear brakes,u might want to change the rear brakes if the vibration is still annoying, also were the front wheels torqued to spec when installed?? if not u might end up with warped front brakes again, hope this helped
I think your right that its a bad bearing or hub. If your feeling it in the gas pedal and the floor, its most likely the front. If you can find an empty parking lot, try to get up to the speed it starts making the noise, and turn left and right. With the extra load being put on each bearing from turning, that will tell you which side it is.
Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.
check if you here a ssssssss noise when you drive down the road just slightly to the side you here the noise from if it is a thumping noise its probably a rim
It needs front end alignment.
Car pulls to one side and vibration in front end at 55-65mph
