There should be a filler tube just behind the grill.The bottle is behind the grill way in the front of the vehicle.Have someone push the washer button and follow the noise of the pump motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.
don't put your baby out to pasture yet. Your circuit is quite simple, so it shouldn't be hard to fix this. First check the 15 Amp CRUISE fuse. It might be in the engine compartment relay box. If it isn't that, it must be a loose wire. See diagram below.
Since you just replaced the battery and alternator, I would take the car to a parts store and have them check the alternator output. See if there is any fluctuation in the output. I had a short once in one of the wires in the plug that was causing an intermittent charging problem. I found it by moving the wires around while checking the alternator output. I re-soldered the wire into the plug and eliminated the problem. Hope this helped and best wishes.
I don't have a diagram, but your problem is the oil cooler underneath the intake on top of the engine. Remove the intake, and the cooler is right there in between the heads. Easy to change once you get the intake off. This is a VERY common problem on Cateras, and the symptom of it is oil in your coolant. I have a 1998 Catera and had the same issue.
