Took the passenger side panel off and Replaced window regulator motor was still good. Window goes up and down quietly from the passenger side. Went to test driver's side control and nothing what do I check for on drivers side
Was regulator bad? did it work from drivers side switch before you did regulator repair?..if so passenger side switch wiring has issue and is not sending signal through it back to the drivers side master switches.. otherwise you need to pin test for power up power down on drivers side switch and repair that if issue going to the window on passenger side.. (possible pinched at door jam area common)

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
SOURCE: I replaced the driver's side window motor because
I don't know everything there is to know about window motors, but I have seen this before, both mine went out at the same time, not together but a couple weeks apart, like they were dated. Anyway, I replaced both motors, then both operators. Now they both work fine. I would hang on to the old motor, you never know, it might be good, You might have a bad switch on the door, I had to take my switches apart on my other truck and clean the contacts, got both motors working again, Hope this helps.
SOURCE: The front passenger window only goes down but not
I would suspect the passenger side switch or connector will be the likely solution. As the drivers(master) switch operates independly from any of the passenger doors. Check the connection, and if good replace the switch.

run a wire from the battery to the switch, then to the motor to determine the fault.saves a lot of dismantling.

The motor is a basic reversable electric motor, you provide power and ground to go one way then reverse it to go the other.
Are you getting power and ground on the wires in both directions ?

Thank You! I was debating to open the driver's side panel or just open and close the door a couple times. Chose to open and close the door, turned on the ignition pressed the window switch and the window went down and up. Happy I didn't have to clean the contacts on switch. First time ever, changed the window regulator found the kinks in the cable a nightmare. Sprayed lubricant in the rubber and ran the window up and down a few times hope to prevent the glass from being dragged on the rubber, possible why cable kinked so badly or previous owners err. Tested the motor before ordering the replacement part. Now on to figuring out how to remove the back bench seat to find out why the driver's side back door won't open from the inside and outside. Looking forward to another project. Thank you all for your solutions
