SOURCE: Reverse Lights not working

More than likely they were not working before this. The reversing light switch sits on the front of the gearbox. After obviously checking the bulbs remove the plug from the switch ( it will only have two connections) and bridge the connections with a short piece if wire ( insulated so that no short occurs on gearbox casing) then switch ignition on. Lights will most likely be on. If thats the case replace the switch and take back what you said about the guy!!

SOURCE: Airbag light remains on after changing fuse of rear wiper.VW POLO

This is a common occurance in vw's.
In order to turn off the airbag light you need to have a scan tool hooked up to your car because the airbag detected a fault of some sort, or it could be a faulty component in the airbag system itself.

SOURCE: 2001 VW Jetta rear running lights out. bulbs good, fuses good.

Almost sure it is a recall for a relay. Call the dealer, I had a 2001 VR6 with the same problem, and it was a simple, free recall.

my guess is car has BCM that is sick.
so we SCAN the PCM/BCM at the OBD2 DLC scan port and it tells me BCM errors.
you said fuses are good but there are vast fuses now on a car even 50 fuses, in engine bay and 1or 2 fuse boxes in the cab.
the glove box users guide answers where they are;.
if battery voltage drops below 10vdc, the BCM will go crazy.
when engine runs the Battery/charge./Gen lamp must not glow,
right? seen in the IP cluster,

Vw polo fuse for the indicators keeps blowing

Mine did the same. I would change the fuse and test. It would work and as soon as I drive it would pop. I realised that the brake lights were on the same circuit. Remove the rear lights and replace your bulbs. It worked for me. Good luck.

My air con ,rear wiper and fog lights have stopped working on a vw polo 2.0 hatch 2005

Consult your Car Owner manual to locate where the Fuse Box is located: Check the appropriate fuse(s) for the appliances in your car that are not working - I suspect that the AirCon, RearWiper and Fog lights are sharing the same fuse as it would be extremely unusual to have 3 separates fuses blown at the same time. ps. The Polo usually has some spare fuses in/near the Fuse Box.

Left rear tail light does not work

have you had any work done on it sounds like wire may have been cut check for power at fuse and if you can get to wires close to fuse check there and if you can get to wires probe right before the bulb socket cause the socket may be the culprit .

Sounds like a water leaking issue. Try taking out the whole light panel, drying it and spraying it with DW 40. worked for me
