2004 Ford Focus leaking fluid from antifreeze tank

I recently had my antifreeze tank replaced. Once I stop my vehicle after my one hour commute, antifreeze continues to spill from the tank. I've taken it back to the repair shop and was assured that all hoses are secure as well as the tank. Why am I losing fluid? Does it have anything to do with the thermostat? Help!!

Antifreeze leaking from engine on 2001 ford focus

It sounds like you have a blown head gasket, check your engine oil, take off your oil cap and if it is frothy around the cap and inside the head, you have a blown head gasket.

Hi i have a 2000 ford focus it seems that the water is bubbling over and then i have to refill the water every time i go on a journey what is the problem

Does it overheat on you ??? If not,, try replacing the radiater cap..Make sure the vehicle is cold before removing the cap..If that doesnt do it,,and the vehicle not overheating,,you may have a small combustion leak..Like a head gasket..But first try the cap..

I have a 2000 ford taurus. It is leaking antifreeze out of my reservior tank. I don't see any leaks anywhere. It is not showing hot in the inside. I drive for about 20 miles and stop and it is leaking...

if it is leaking it will eventually over heat, these tanks are know as expansion tanks, and will over time deteriorate and get fine cracks that open when hot, remove and inspect the tank itself should be a 1 hour job, good luck i hatge this car

97Z71 leaking antifreeze

I would check the heater core. You can rent a pressure tester from the auto
parts store and put a piece of cardboard under the vehicle, then pressurize
the system to the pressure on the cap. Come back in an hour or so and look
at the cardboard. (if your heater core is leaking it will come out through the
air conditioner drain on the passenger side.) This method will identify where the fluid
is coming from in terms of area on the vehicle. You may want to pressure wash the
engine a day before to make things more visible.

Also check to be sure that the
overflow tank hose is connected to the radiator, these can come off and allow
the radiator fluid to escape the vehicle instead of being transferred back and
forth between the radiator and overflow tank as mine did. I didn't even notice as it
had fallen down behind the battery.
Hope this helps.

Windsheild washer not working

Check to see if you have fluid in the tank. Next see if there is fluid leaking out underneath the vehicle. Can you hear the pump running? Check for a blown fuse.

Where is the radiator cap on 2003 Ford Focus ZTW

I do not believe that there is a radiator cap on the Focus. I believe that the coolant is filled from the what most would consider the overflow tank. It is an overflow tank of sorts but serves also to fill the radiator.
