I have a 1999 dodge cummins 2500 manual trans 4x4. I haven't driven it for 2 weeks. I put a straight exhaust on it and attempted to start the engine. It turned over a couple of times and fired but immediately went dead. Now it won't even try to start. It seems to be getting good fuel flow to the injector pump although i haven't checked fuel pressure from fuel transfer pump. I loosened a couple of injector lines at the injector pump and cranked the engine over for 10 seconds two separate times but no fuel coming out of injector pump. I bought the truck second hand 6 months ago. It has 135000 miles. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
You said you have fuel flowing from the inlet line of the injection pump? But not at the injector lines?
Yes the control board is not sending power to the injectors for to open
Sorry i mean the control board is not sending power to the injector for it to spray fuel into the engine
Where is the control board situated in a Toyota Quantum 2.5 Diesel?

Engine started running rough then would not start, I changed the filter and primed it, still no fuel reaching the filter, Ideas how can I check the pump? It has a replaced pump done from the dealership 2 years ago
I had the same type of problem on my '99. The solution was replacing the o'ring on the fuel preheater in the top of the fuel filter assembly. The o'ring was replaced, the filter canister filled with diesel, and no more problem.
I have a Hilux Toyota 1997, 3L diesel engine. my injector pump is making a horrible racking noise. i had an mechanic service it but still no improvement. Servicing the pump may work for some.
