Jasonjacob1 is right. If the air from the A/C is not cool, the only cause is low or empty refrigerant. This means that the gas that your vehicle uses to produce cool air is gone from the system. The solution is not to recharge the system but to locate and fix the leak, then recharge the system.

I am not sure if the A/C was working well before I cleaned the filters as I bought the van in feb 2009 that was winter time. However, I made sure if the A/C was working or not before purchase. A/C was working but I wasn't aware of how efficient it was since I didn't need to turn on A/c during winter time. Thank you for asking.
it is prob just out of gas and has nothing to do with what you have done.Gas leacks in car a/c units are a very common fault. the person you bought it from prob just got someone to put gas in it to sell it without fixing the leak
did it work fine before you cleaned the filters?
