Pwoer seat quit working

My driver's side front seat quit working on me and I can not seem to find a wiring diagram for the power seats. Has anyone had or has this experience with any power seats or could lead me in the right direction of a wiring diagram over the web. Thank you.

Well I kind of thought it might be the switch and kind of not. Reason being is that I am not receiving power to my switch and I am unable to find a fuse or an inline fuse, thus the need for a wiring diagram. This problem could be as simple as a switch malfunctioning or a fuse or as complicated as a wiring problem or unsupported ground wire. Either way I will try the switch idea and see how that works, thank you for the inquiry.

First, check if you have power at the switch, if not, check the fuse or wire, if yes, you have a faulty switch, or motor(s)

The most common issue is the actual seat switch.
there isnt much to it, the back and the base work on different circuits, so if you have lost the whole seat then it is the switch not a wiring issues as part would still be working.
Pop out the switch and spray electrical cleaner into it (whilst disconnected - 2 philips screws) then work the switch for about 5 mins meaning move all directions and then try it.
Good luck

Swapped seats but heat not working - f56 mini cooper s

Are the connectors actually wired the same? Check the wiring diagrams for each seat if you can find them, otherwise trace the wiring from the internal components in the seat to the connector and make sure the heaters are going to heater power pins in the original harness, and temperature sensors are going to temperature sensor pins (temperature sensors may be polarized, that is, it makes a difference which pin goes to positive and which to ground).

I have a 2003 trailblazer ltz. The driver side power seat and seat heater just quit working all of the sudden. The passenger side still works fine. What would be the cause?

The power seat and the seat heater should be on seperate circuits. The only thing that comes to mind in relation would be the wiring connections under the seat. If the power seat and heat control are on the same switch assembly, I would suspect a switch failure

Front passenger power seat quit working

Check the fuse located underneath the drivers side steering wheel. Flip over the plastic fuse box cover lid and you will find a diagram that shows what fuse controls the seat. Replace that fuse with the same number fuse.

You could try using a voltmeter or test light to confirm if power is getting to the motor.

Heated seat

Could be that the wiring for the heater is broken, or that the heating element itself has been damaged. Has anyone knelt on the seat when reaching in to get something out of the car? Or has anyone stood on it (a child maybe)? Pressure like that can break the heaters and keep them from firing up.
