Can't remove headrest

most just pull up it may take some force to get it by the lock ring. other wise look around the area that the head rest rods enter the set and look for a lock release button that you push while pulling up on the head rest.

those have bad handles. Take the handle off by using the proper torx bit and check the stud for full operation of the seats potential by using a pair of visegrips carefully crimping the end of the stud and then pull to check movement sometimes the bolts on the inside of the seat come loose for the back rest and need tightened.

Just removed them on a 2005 Sebring sedan. Easier with two people but one can manage just fine. The trick is a tiny hole in the plastic "sleeves" that the metal posts on the headrest slide into. You'll need a small poking device-Allen wrench, drill bit, tiny screw driver, whatever. The hole is on the right side of the right side sleeve on each headrest (as you're sitting in the back seat facing forward) and is perpendicular to the direction the metal rods go into the sleeves. Insert your small poker and depress the plastic button on the other plastic sleeve simultaneously while your helper pulls up on the headrest.

look under headrest. there is a little button to push.

HELLO; If you will look on the side where the head rest goes into the seat (the base) you will see a hole on each side. Get a drill bit the size of the hole push in and pull up a little till you feel that side release then do the other side. Have the headrest all the way up when you do this.

there should be a button that releases the head rest on the top of the seat

On the part that you squeeze to raise the head rest is a little hole on the inside between the 2 bars. You need to push a paper clip or something like that in the hole to release the stop and keep pushing as you lift. Once that is done then you can pull the rest out.
