I would get the Chilton's book on this car. You have to take the front wheel off to grease the bearing. If the car is front wheel drive, there are major parts up there. If the car is rear wheel drive, there is an inner bearing that is behind a seal. You may damage that seal removing it to check a bearing that may be perfectly ok. The wheel has to be replaced with just the right torque on the mounting nut. It sounds like a simple job, but I would seek professional help. If you do it wrong, you can do real damage to the car. For all you know, you might have a brake problem instead, brakes make more problems than wheel bearings.

2000 ford f250 front hub dry

The hub should have grease in the taper bearings that go on the stub axle. If the grease was missing and the bearings were dry and rusted then the grease seal in the hub had failed and water was let into the bearings. Replace with new bearings and repack with a water resistant grease. Fit new seal .

Can I get directions on how to replace my front rotors that have the bearings attached. Do I need to grease or lube any parts

the rotor is separate from the hub in both 4 and 2 wheel drive F150's, the rotor just slides off the wheel studs after the brake caliper is removed, it may be rusted and so u may have to work it a bit to break the rust bond, the bearings are sealer and never need grease, see picture of hub and bearing below.

Need to replace right front wheel bearing

Remove the wheel and tire ***'y. remove the brake caliper to get it out of your way, then take the dust cap off the rotor where you'l find a nut with acover and a cotterpin. remove the cotter pin, nut coverand loosen the nut, the rotor will come off. the outer bearing will immediately come out if ti's not buried into the race. Remove the inner bearing by knocking out the which you'll need to replace as well. actually to do the job right , replace both races, bearings and the seals. the races and bearings have to wear together and using new bearings on old races is just asking for trouble soon, as they do not wear together like they should. Pack bearings with new grease, install the new races, put some extra grease inside the rotor so the bearings and races will have plenty of lube, install the inner bearing then the seal, put the rotor on the spindle, install the outer bearing nuut, tighten the outer nut just until the rotor rotates one to two revolutions when spinning freehand andinstall the nut cover and the cotter pin, caliper wheel and tire, you're finished, good luck.

Replacing wheel barrings

Yes it matters, you got the formula right, but I looked up your car and found too many different bearings, but , if your front front wheel has 2 bearings, one inside and one outside, most hubs have a dust seal, I didn't see one on yours, it shows a shim on the inside, then the bearing, race, hub, race, bearing, shim, lock nut, pin, don't over tighten it, and don't forget to grease it up, with the grease in your palm, pack it in there, unless you have a greaser, not a gun. Hope this helps.

Hum from front drivers side wheel bearing changed

Two possible problems both related to that bearing change. 1. Was the bearing packed with grease before it was installed? If not, another new bearing is required properly packed with grease. They don't come packed when you by the bearing, only lubed.
2. Incorrect torque on wheel bearing bolt. If you do not have the specs. a good rule of thumb is with the nut just slightly tight and the wheel and tire installed but jacked up, spin the tire by hand and tighten the bolt to a point that the tire will not make 1 full revolution. JUST! ie. 355 degrees.

Good luck

Excessive wheel vibration between 60 and 80 mph and clicking sound when going quite slow, say below 20 mph

you need to lube the bearings from the steering rack if you have a grease gun just raise the car ister the gun thru the grease port there the ones located near the wheel when you turn the wheel all to one side ids the black rubbers that connect the wheel arms just pump it till the grase ither comes out or bullges the rubbers out
