SOURCE: Every time you try to pump gas, the gas pump shuts

try disconnecting the fuel line leading into the fuel pump, let out a little fuel, then reconnect it. then disconnect the fuel line leading out of the fuel pump, letting out a little fuel.
if that doesnt work, run the car completely out of gas once. turn the engine over a few times while empty.
have you tried pumping gas with the enigine running? see if that helps. if this does help, it is probably the vacuum someplace, near the fuel injectors?

When I put gas in my Mountaineer it is filling the whole filler tube up and shuts the pump off no matter how slow you pump it.

Take it to the dealer and have them modify your filler nozzle. Some other cars had the same problem that was fixed under warranty.

When i fuel up my passat the refuel nozzel will kick out about 20 times per tank this is annoying and it does not matter at what gas station

That used to happen alot with many vehicles at my rental car agency. What will help a lot is to set the nozzle just enough in the hole to fuel it up with out spilling it (just hold it a little further out). This will let make sure the fuel isn't running up into the nozzle which is what stops the fuel from spewing. Hope this helps!

2004 toyota tacoma won't allow me to put gas in the tank unless it is put in very slow and it still shuts off dispensor.

there is a restrictor in the filler neck so that if the car turns over no fuel spills out.you cannot remove it.
you will have to live with the slow fill rather than using
the auto fill gas gun......try turning the gun to one side....

I can't pump gas correctly.

try not puyying the pump all the way in the fill hole, you need to let some air in when the gas is going in, also dont pull the handle all the way when filling the tank

Ford 2005 Escape

you have a vapor vent tube problem. When fuel goes in, the iar must come out. The filler pipe has a vent pipe inside it. Try putting the nozzle in upside down & see what happens. Try putting the nozzle all the way in & see what happens? Try putting the nozzle in just a little way & see what happens.
Otherwise, you may need a new filler pipe.
