Hi ive got a peaugeot 206 1.4 02 reg, i was drivibng home when my car suddenly started losing speed until it stopped and cut off, i tried restarting it but it wouldnt at all. the key would turn over but then the car wouldnt start the engine was just making a strange noise. at first everyone was saying that it would be the alternator or battery but we tried that and even when it had battery and was charged it still wouldnt start, the noise sounds different to when the battery is dead anyway. i then changed the spark plugs and its still not turning on, i wonder if it is the coil pack ? please help !!!
Probably gas or spark related. Check for spark on a spark plug wire, or on a couple of plug wires would be better. If you have a strong blue spark, then the coils are good, ignition is good, and you will need to see if gas is getting up to the engine. Do you hear the fuel pump come on?

Not a Peugeot expert, but it sounds like you are not keeping the radio memory alive when the key is off. Usually there is a circuit to the radio that is hot with the key off that keeps the memory for stations etc. Sometimes this is the same circuit for interior lights or cig lighter.
it could be a couple of things, first, check the wires to the temprature sender unit make sure they have not broke, as it was sudden this may be it, also it could be the sender unit it self as a freind of mine had with her car i changed that and the one for the radiator switch, but most of the time it will be something to do with the sender unit on the engine...hope this helps
May be you need to replace the door and boot rubber seals. Check any gaps between affected area surfaces and if possible carry out the necessary work to stop the leakage. If the problem is still there then please describe in detail when and how i.e in rain from top or bottom side etc etc.
