Take a can of BRAKE CLEANER and spray around the air intake seals. When you do spray, spray one spot at a time, whichever spot you spray that makes the engine rev. is the spot that needs to be cleaned or has a hole in it. Clean the throttle body and change the air intake filter. That should get rid of the problem.
A bad turbo control valve can cause that, on the side of the air box, 1 connector and 3 hoses going to it, easy to replace. Dont mix up the hoses, they are color coded red, yellow and blue. Part should be relatively cheap.

yes. the hose closest to the cap over flows onto the ground. so the bottle will not bust if pressure is to high. if it is a v6 engine you have to bleed the air out of the system when refilling. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine there will be a bleeder screw open bleeder fill coolant bottle. engine off close screw start engine for a minute shut off engine and repeat several times until you can feel the heater inside the car starting to get warm. good luck.
