Check engine P055 Code

Are you asking how to clear the check engine light?
Buy a cheap code reader ( $20 ) plug it in the OBD2 port which has to be no more than 3 feet from the steering column and clear the code(s).
If the check engine light comes right back on after you have cleared the code(s),read the code(s) and correct the problem(s).

need code scanner but first find what causes check engine light to turn on.you need to code scan find what code you are getting fix bad sensor.then use code scan to erase code.if you dont fix problem will check engine light will stay on.

po055 is h20 sensor bank 1 sensor 3 heater resistance

whenever the check engine light comes on a fualt code is stored in the memory of the computer that runs the engine and emmisssions system, you need to have the system tested to see what that fault code is, any Kragen or Aamco transmission does this for free, tell them u have a check engine light and want a code test.
