check all the engine fluids (Oil, Coolant, Tranny fluid)
a lot of times if one of these are low the computer wont allow the vehicle to start to avoid costly damage to the engine or drive-train,
also it the fuel is low enough it will auto shutdown and wont start to avoid running the fuel injectors dry. be sure to check the warning lights on your dash when you turn the key as they will also provide clues to whats going on
if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.
If you are driving the car and it wont start after driving awhile. Do a wiggle on the CKP (crank position sensor) this sensor is located at the front main engine pulley, I am seeing a lot of loose male to female connection shut car off.
hi Jtdelta. What can cause the car not to start?
Because the battery controls your headlights and dashboard, if they turn on, but your engine won't start, a bad ignition switch is the likely culprit. 3. Broken Starter - Similar to a bad ignition switch, a broken starter is another common reason your car won'tstart.
