SOURCE: audio wiring problem

Constant 12V+ Blue/Yellow
Switched 12V+ Gray
Ground Brown (or your own wire to a metal grounding point)
Illumination Green
Antenna Trigger Black/Red

Front Speakers 4" Dash
Left Front (+) Pink
Left Front (-) Purple
Right Front (+) Green
Right Front (-) Blue

Rear Speakers 5 1/4" Rear Deck
Left Rear (+) Black
Left Rear (-) Yellow
Right Rear (+) Red
Right Rear (-) White

I a '83 camry, there are 2 seperate plugs that go into a factory radio.
One for Power/and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.

Sounds as if you are missing part of the harness for the rear speakers (or it is shoved in the back of the dash unused by the previous install). If there is not an un-cut plug in the dash - your only course of action would be to run your own set of speaker wire to the rear.

See this picture... these are the plugs that should go into your factory radio....

Metra kit 71-1938 will go from your factory wiring directly into your factory radio.

98 Acura cl 3.0 original stereo OEM wires were cut installing aftermarket stereo what are the color codes on the original stock harness so I can route it to the new wiring harness kit

read (you meant main harness to radio sub harness.)
and car may have 5 or more harness for 5 or more very complex radio head end options new,so only the real service manual covers all that for sure,or if lucky 2nd fiddle here.

I need directions of what wires go were, on hooking this sony cd player up in my 92 accord lx sedan?

there is a universal code for wires to a cd player. most of the colors are the same but I have noticed a few are different on different manufactures. first use your ask.com for the universal color code for car stereo's. then cross reference that list to what you have in your car. the wires from the sony cd player should be listed on the player or somewhere from the sony support. If in doubt use a meter to check which wires are the speakers and which ones are the power. Usually the power wire is red and the ground is black. if you want to know which wire goes to which speaker use a small flashlight battery to very quickly go between the speaker wires and you will hear a scratching or poping sound from the speaker that the battery is activating

1990 toyota corolla stereo wiring codes i just purchased a sony stereo and i took out the old radio in my 1990 toyota corolla but i cant figure out how to connect the wires i need the color code for...

what you need is to buy a wiring adapter for your car.it only cost about 15 bucks and plugs right in to your original plugs that were connected to your factory radio.the great thing about this adapter is that you dont hava to cut your original plug off just in case if you ever want to reinstall your original back.also the wires that go to your new headunit are color coded to match the exact colors that you connect to your stereo.you can't mess your connection up because all you have to do is connect each wire to the right color, tape them up,connect your stereo and you have music with all of your speakers working like they should and without any headaches.i hope this info helps.take care and good luck, manny
