It is the starter selonoid. You start it and the engine heats the starter selonoid.that is why it starts when it cools off.
Que pasa o si le conecto mas bocinas o bajos a mi klh de 12's pero directamente desde la salida de la tarjeta y no desde las que tiene en la parte frontal de afuera???
Could be crankshaft sensor, fuel pump, or vacuum leaks. See ideas for troubleshooting at links below.

SOURCE: How many cold cranking amps should I have for my 2001 SL1 Saturn
A 550 CCA Battery would be ok. Your recommended Battery is 525 CCA. The extra 25 Amps would be ok and also give you that little extra bit on those colder days up there. Thanks for Using FixYa!

this is caused by burnt starter solenoid contacts, U can either replace the starter solenoid contacts (about $15) or u can replace the entire starter.

Hi! Pancho,
Looking at the brief outline of your problem it may be due to ignition switch failure? You obviously seem a competant Mechanic by all the jobs you have done already?
Have you tried Hot wiring the starter? (Take a insulated live+ wire from the battery and flash the solenoid)
Or if it is easier remove the block from behind the ignition switch and hot wire from there as I think it is this that's the fault.
A common problem on Vw's you twist the key all the way but the starter connection doesn't make so the solenoid on the starter doesn't get power.
Hope this FixYa'Z problem!
