P1260 is pre supply pressure monitoring, rate reduction due to low-pre-supply pressure. That is, fuel related. However, this normally triggers limp mode (<30mph/<2000RPM). Not uncommon on the X5. I would start with replacing fuel filter before delving into the lift pump/fuel delivery unit, in tank pump etc. Clear fault codes, run the car again then see what happens again - same fault codes?...then its delivery fuel pressure related. Should be 3.9bar at idle and not drop below 3.5bar.

Please help on how to reset the Engine light for the BMW 320i E90,N46 engine

You will need a scan tool that works on that BMW to clear any warning lights such as a check engine light. Unless you have resolved the problem/ fault that has caused the warning light you are wasting your time clearing it as an unresolved fault that has not been fixed will, once you drive the car again, generate the check engine light again together with a bunch of fault codes that can be read by the scan tool.
