2005 Hyundai Tucson

My 2005 Hyundai Tucson, about 65k miles I believe, won't start. The battery is fine. Engine starts to turns over, but won't start or fire up. Makes shuttering noise and shakes the whole front of the car. Could this possible be an electrical problem?? Anything to do with the computer?? My husband tried to checked the fuses and didn't find any of them blown. Don't know if my problem would be covered by basic Hyundai warranty. Don't wanna pay *********** at the dealership if it's not covered. PLEASE HELP if you have any idea what this could be!!!

same as above. I am on my 3rd battery now as the wrkshops think this could be a problem, needless to say it did not do the trick. my car is stuck in the garage dead as the donkey, despite driving for 1600 km over the wend.

Try checking the main relay it is in the relay fuse box under the hood on the left fender . I had this problem and one of the wires rotted off.

I would not know what to suggest without looking at the vehicle first. I do suggest that you purchase a Haynes auto manual, available at most auto parts stores, for about $20 and go from there.

Engine won't start after setting 3 months with good battery turns over but won't fire what the problem

3 months is along time for gasoline to sit. Use starting fluid to see if you have spark. Caution with starting fluid its extremely flammable.

My Hyundai Tucson (2007) will start when cold, but when warm will just turn over and not fire. Once running can go for miles and miles. Sometimes will even start when warm. What could this intermitent

Have you had the OBD codes read, this will point to the component at issue , as a guess i'd go for the ign coils or the crank sensor but the OBD will pinpoint it for you

2005 hyundai tucson 2.0L engine rebuild with new bearings, timing belt and chain. Also new pisitons rings. when trying to start engine it would not catch. spark is fine on all wires and engine is turning...

If the timing chain is off one tooth it will be hard to start. Check the coil and make sure you getting a good spark. Also make sure yor battery is good and your alternator is putting out at least 13.6 volts or more.
