How do i get to the battery

if the battery is completely dead... there is a way to open the trunk from the inside. it involves putting the rear seat down. in the middle under the back window theres an emergency rear seat release. lower the seat, and then pull emergency trunk release on the top of the trunk door. hope this helped.

There are 2 fuse boxes. One in the engine compartment right next to the battery. The other one is indeed under the seat. You must pull the fabric tab in the middle of the seat and pull it towards the drivers seat. The entire seat bottom will lift up towards the drivers seat. Your rear seats fold down if you didn't know that already, seat and back rest both.

The battery is located underneath the rear seat , you remove the rear seat by pulling upward on front of rear seat. Pull up and out to remove it from the car. Next remove both cables, the black (negative) first, then the red (positive). Completely remove the bracket that holds battery. Remove the battery, be careful of any liquid and or wetness on the battery it is acid and will burn your skin and your clothes and carpet. Same directions in reverse order to install the new battery. this fuse controls a few things i will list them and send a copy for you.this way you can determine which asc come on this truck, but i know some do and they are needed,it controls the hvac system (heating/ ac), electronic suspension, rear wheel steering,and heated seats. instead of removing the fuse which cant be done look under the rear seats and unplug the heated seats module theres two one under each seat in the rear seats that will shut it down. hope this helps

You will need to remove the rear seats to access the hole just above the shock. Remove the bottom seat cushion first, then find the small bolts that hold the upper seat to the frame. Once removed, you will see access to the top of the shocks (might have a plastic covering the hole).

in the trunk. you will need to get under the hood if the trunk wont open to charge the battery. There is a post on top of the intake manifild

BATTERY IS LOCATED UNDER THE REAR SEAT.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION TO GET TO IT.

The battery is located beneath the rear seat. Give the rear seat a good upward yank to release from the snap-in holders. The battery is on the passenger side.

Open the trunk & pull the 2 small knobs, one on either side, inside the top area of the trunk cavity, right under the rear glass area.

Don't worry this happen everyday with some cars.
Is there a few places to locate the battery on cars up to date.

But on your 02 Lesabre. The BATTERY is located on:
Under REAR PASSANGER SEAT.
If you open one of the Rear DOORs you will need to remove the
Rear Back seat, after that you will see the BATTERY .

Remamber Under the Rear SEAT..
