Foot brake wiring harness

I recently installed a new steering column on my 1985 Chevy Blazer 4x4 and putting the wiring harnesses back on the steering column. I am having trouble finding the location for the plug that extends from the harness that goes on the foot brake. The wire is short and and is colored green and pink. Please help.

IT is under the floor board, under the carpet or flooring you have. It is coming up from under that. It should be fairly easy to locate once you pull back the carpet

How to remove turn signal wire harness

New set will have a plug on it so don't be concerned about just cutting the plug off to get the old harness out. You have to remove the steering wheel and anything above the turn signal switch to give access to the little pivot bolt the switch is mounted by. Remove this pivot screw/bolt and pull the unit out. After the plug has been cut off the end of the signal harness, the wires will come out easily. Put all that aside, grab your new turn signal unit, Turn the plug on it's side, flat on the wires, and feed it down thru the column housing until the new switch is in position to bolt back on. Now put it back together in reverse of removal.

    • 4Remove the wiring harness running in back of the multi-switch. Place the wiring out of the way so you can remove the switch,

    Installing the New Switch
    • 6Install the new switch. Tighten the screws to hold the switch securely.
