When i turn on headlights at night dash lights and tail lights dont work but i still have headlights and brake lights could it be the headlight switch on the steering column where you turn on the headlights .. ? i have checked the fuses and still nothing

the dash lights and running lights(including tail lights) are all on the same fuse. same thing happened to my honda. check all fuses with test light or a good visual inspection. chances are its a fuse thats out
