Yea its actully quite simple, but expensive. The regulator needs to be replaced. I have already replaced my right rear, but I think my driver side is going out also, sounds like it anyway.
Thank God I bought a third party warrnty and they took care of everything. Zurich is the name of the company. I purchased the one with no deductible. Anyway I wish I had a better solution-but its awful hard to do your self.

there should be two holes in the rotors that will be threaded. send two bolts in them a little at a time to push the rotor away from the backing plate.

Does this not open from inside or outside or both.
If it opens from the inside and not the outside look at the door opening near the latch. Look for the small lever "child-lock" just move the lever in the oposite direction.
If the door doesn't open from inside or outside I would ask has anyone try to unlock the car using a "slim-jim" if so they may have caused the lock rod to come off the latch on the inside. You'll need to remove the door trim panel and see the the rod has come off. With any luck it will just pop back on if the nothing is broken.

This is a common problem that the dealers don't even like to mess with. It will require the removal of the inside panel to access the latch to open it. A screwdriver and a pliers will be needed to access the latch handle to open the door. Then after it is opened, you will want to see if the latch is disconnected from the handle. Sometimes the latch needs to be lubricated. Sometimes the latch rod can fall off as well.
