You have a power drain- something is wired directly to the positive terminal that is staying on after you shut the key off-it must be unhooked so that it will stop drawing juice from your battery-cheers Denny

SOURCE: 2002 Hyundai Accent Problem

first thing i need to know is did the timing belt break?
second is are you sure you aligned the timing marks and after the belt tensioner was tight you rechecked to make sure the timing stayed where you had it.
next step would be a compression check to if a valve was bent whenchanging the belt
i have seen this happen and this engine is an interferance engine.
later paul

SOURCE: 2001 Hyundai Accent. Heating and stalls

YOUR WATER PUMP GASKET IS LEAKING.ITS NOT SEALING.IF YOU DID USE GASKET SEALANT ON WATER PUMP GASKET IT WILL LEAK.ALSO YOU NEED TO PUT HALF ANTIFREEZE AND HALF WATER.BECAUSE WATER WILL BOIL OR EVAPORATE.WHEN ENGINE TEMP GET ABOVE 212.YOU NEED ANTIFREEZE TO RAISE THE BOILING POINT.SO YOUR ENGINE WILL NOT OVER HEAT.EVERY TIME ENGINE OVER HEAT IT DAMAGING THE TRANSMISSION.I WOULD FIX IT.QUICKLY.CHECK TO SEE IF WATER PUMP LEAKING.YOU MIGHT HAVE TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE GASKET AGAIN.

My hyundai Accent 2010 will randomly not start until boosted/charged

you need to find out what is draining the battery, it could be the alarm or lights, with nothing being used and a fully charged battery the voltage at the batter should be around 12volts. you will need a volt meter to find out what is the voltage, when the engine is running the voltage at the battery should be between 13.85 and 14.volts, if the voltage is low at the battery when charged the problem is the battery, if the engine is running and its at 12-13 volts then there is a problem with the alternator. if all of these parts are fine then you need to remove fuses one at a time and check the voltage drop, when you find the fuse you need to check your log book or info on fuse box to find what that fuse controls. if you don't have fog lights then its not them dont know who told you that. it can also be a fault with the backup battery for the alarm these can fail over time and they drain the battery.

Drain plug location for transmission on 2008 hyundai accent

If this is an automatic, there is no drainplug. You have to drop the entire tranny pan, but if you\'re careful when taking the bolts loose; you can drain the pan pretty easy.

2008 Hyundai Accent problems

first, what is the condition and level of the tranny fluid ? compare with new one please. if not the same by far in clour or odor, get the transmission filter and oil changed. while the pan is off, look in it to see if there is metal in it. if so, your torque converter may need to be change. a little greyish residue at the bottom is normal but if the magnet is full and also the, you got a problem. you may need to rebuild it or replace it.
