Does the master window switch have any effect on the trunk button in car or on keys? 2003 saturn ion. The switch on the trunk is on unlock but when i push the button it does nothing. Also when press the button on the keys the lights just flash. The passenger windows wont roll down and doors wont lock using inside switch or key remote. If i replace the master window switch will this fix everything?

make sure than you have not split any fluids on the passenger front door most of the times is where the module to control the windows and doors is located, try by unpluging the batterie and the after a minute plug it back and see what happend but if any of your ft doors have been split with liquid or rain has gone inside then most likelly the module got moisture and not working

hi,problem with remote key,you check the battery of the transmitter,fine,how about trying with spare key,or check fuse or send to dealer for proper diagnose,preventing wrong part replacement.
You are on the right track.
Door panel is easy to take off. you need a screwdriver and a panel popper (or if you don't have one carefully pull the panel off with your hands, you may have to get new panel clips) ,they are cheap so no big deal.

there is a manual switch that is located near the trunk latch for a safty lockout it might have been switched by accident look to make sure.hope this helps.
