SOURCE: car died when running
Sounds like a fuel pump issue. Confirm readings with a fuel pump gauge. Post the psi readings so I can see them. I'm away from my reference material right now, but I think there is either a TSB or a recall out on the problem you are describing. Check with a dealer to be sure. Have the dealer run yourVIN to see if you're part of the recall or TSB.

Had the same prob. Mine was the O2 sensors..... I replaced Both and [knock on wood] have had no more probs.......

Check the fuel cap!! If the vacuum relief is not working it can impede the fuel flow and cause the engine to shut down or not restart after a stop. Waiting usually gives things a chance to stabalize and the engine will restsrt. When this happens again try loosening the cap and see if the engine will restart.....If it restarts immediately, REPLACE the fuel cap..Do Not leave it loose because this will cause other problems. If it is not the fuel cap the problem may be the filter, the fuel pump, or aome other fuel system malfunction.

there is water in the fuel, there should be a fuel water seperator in the engine compartment, look in your owners manual and it should tell you the steps to drain the water from it, it should take a few minutes
