Dead battery & can't open trunk to charge battery

How do I open the trunk if the battery is dead? There is no lock on the trunk and only push button on door

    Also, I forgot to mention it has 3 flat tires, so the tow truck driver said he would have to drag the car onto the flatbed and I would have to sign a damage waiver.

Simple solution - your tbird has a mechanical trunk lock behind your driver seat on the face of the package shelf. Just use your key to open it.

This sounds crazy but try crawling in the trunk of the car and use a screw dirver or something to pry the latch open. may need a flash light for that.

Many People don't know exactly how to use the manual key attached to your remote to open the doors and trunk in case the battery is dead. All you have to do is slide the locking button in the back of your remote and pull the metal pre-cut key, then insert it in the trunk lock, turn key to the left and then push in. kawaboongha!!!

Place the NEG. cable from the jumper on any metal structural componant on the vehicle.
use the key fob to 'pop' the trunk.

If you use the key to lock all the doors, the trunk locks also, so if you have a dead battery, you probably don't have vaccuum to open the locks, because all the locks are vaccuum activated. Charge or change the battery and start it up, after a few minutes you should be able to activate the door locks, thus unlocking your trunk.

Borrow neighors jumper cables or swap battery with one from another car.
I am assming that the battery is in the engine compartment.

Hook the battery charger to the alternator output connection.
Don't charge this way ......at more than 40 amps.
Now..... hit your remote button for the trunk.

Battery is dead and can't open the trunk, even manually
Starter motor on this car is imposible to get to..better find the post forward of the drivers side fuse box in the engine compartment where a bunch of wires come together. This is a positive terminal attach red jumper here put the negative jumper on any bare metal bracket of the engine
