Sounds like a coil pac is going out. Get an OBDII reader and check for codes P0300 range to isolate which cylinder coil is bad.

See if you notice it getting louder and softer as you turn a little to the left or right while you are going at speeds that makes the noise. If so, it is a front wheel bearing.

Check for snow and ice inside of the wheels. It has been a pretty common problem for us in southern Minnesota after the 20+ inches of snow we received on Saturday.

wheel balance may be the problem,but before sending to shop check inside of wheels for accumlation of ice and mud build up this will put wheels out of balance and a good clean may be all that is needed to fix this problem

The engine light means that the computer has stored a trouble code which can be retrieved with a scan tool. Some part stores will check these codes for free and might be able to suggest a possible cause for the code or codes. If the codes indicate a lean condition, then check fuel pressure.

Your tires are out of balance! Get them balanced and while there ask them to check out the linkages that may be damaged due to wear from the shaking.

Vehicle hakes when driving 45 to 50 miles per hour

Check wheel balance,
check steering linkages for loosness - such as tie rod ends, steering rack linkages etc,
check driveline for worn/loose joints and bearings.
